Who we are

Neighbours, not a portal

conventglen.homes is an independent guide to Convent Glen, a neighbourhood in Orléans, east Ottawa, City of Ottawa. It is made by a small local team that builds websites for homes that are for sale.

We are not a real-estate brokerage and we do not represent buyers or sellers. Each home on this site has its own website; the listing agent and brokerage stay the contact for the sale.

How we work

Every fact links to its source: the municipality, the school boards, the transit agency, OpenStreetMap, Statistics Canada, Wikipedia and local organizations.
Listing facts and prices come only from REALTOR.ca. Market statistics come from the Ottawa Real Estate Board, quoted with their date.
Photos are free-licence images, credited where they appear.
Distances are straight-line and drive times are routing estimates; they are labelled as such.

For sellers

Get a website for your home

If your home has a for-sale sign, we can give it its own website: every photo, room sizes, the neighbourhood, schools, commute and open house, on an easy address like 123yourstreet.ca. It links into this guide, so buyers can see the whole area.

We build it first. A student from the neighbourhood shows you your home's finished site on an iPad. You decide if you want it.
You pay $50. We register a short address for your home and host the site while it is for sale.
Share it everywhere. Put the address on your sign rider, in your feature sheet and on social media.
When it sells, the address forwards to this hub's Sold page.
